School Field Trips & Class Outings

The Field Trip Students Talk About All Year

Some field trips end at the gift shop. This one ends with a kid who wouldn’t climb the first bridge finishing the hardest course. Our nine treetop trails let every student pick their own challenge level, so the cautious ones and the fearless ones are all busy at once, and classmates spend the day cheering each other across. Teachers get free bus parking, pre-signed waivers, and an easy drive from schools across southeast Wisconsin and northern Illinois. We host classes, grade levels, and whole districts, with weekday times built around the school calendar. Chaperones climb free at a 10:1 ratio, and our staff handles the safety briefing and harness fitting so teachers can spend the day watching their students surprise themselves.

Group Leaders on Boundless

I brought my club volleyball team up from Gurnee and it was the best team outing we've done. Girls who barely talked at practice were coaching each other across the ropes. The drive was 25 minutes. We'll be back every season.
Coach Dana R Gurnee, IL
Our office was tired of the usual team building, so we drove up from Arlington Heights and spent the afternoon in the trees. Watching your quietest coworker fly past you on a zipline changes the energy back at work. Easiest event I've ever planned.
Marcus T Arlington Heights, IL
We've done every trampoline park and bowling alley on the North Shore. My son's zipline birthday at Boundless is the one his friends still talk about. Under an hour from Highland Park and worth every minute.
Jenny S Highland Park, IL
Our troop has done a lot of outings, and this was the first one where every single scout found a challenge at their level. The staff walked our nervous first-years through it and let the older kids push themselves. Easy trip from Libertyville.
Scout Leader Mike D Libertyville, IL
I've planned a lot of field trips, and this one ran itself. Bus parking on site, waivers done ahead of time, and forty students active for three straight hours. Forty minutes from Milwaukee and the kids asked to go back before we hit the highway.
Ms. Alvarez Milwaukee, WI
Group FAQ

Common Group Booking Questions

There is a 10-person minimum for a discounted group rate. The reservation needs to be made 14 days in advance, and one person needs to be responsible for the reservation and payment. If your group is fewer than 10 participants, please visit our general admission page.

For small groups (10–20), call our office at 262-287-0933 or book directly on our website. For groups of more than 20 guests, complete the inquiry form on the relevant group page and our sales team will reach out shortly. We require a 50% deposit to hold your date.

Weekdays (Monday–Friday), we have set time slots open for group reservations during general admission hours. During spring and fall, when we’re closed to the public on weekdays, we can open the park for groups of 30 or more.

Weekends and holidays have limited group capacity due to strong demand. Slots are first-come, first-served and often sell out more than a month in advance, so plan ahead.

For groups including kids 7–9 years old, someone aged 16+ must accompany these participants on the course at a 5:1 ratio at all times.

For groups including kids 10–12 years old, someone aged 16+ must be on the ground at a 10:1 ratio at all times. If a chaperone chooses to climb, an additional chaperone needs to be on the ground to monitor the group.

We’re inside Bristol Woods Park in Kenosha County, just minutes off I-94. That puts us under an hour from downtown Chicago and about 40 minutes from Milwaukee, with free parking and bus parking on site. For North Shore suburbs like Evanston, Wilmette, and Highland Park, we’re often closer than destinations within the city itself.

An aerial adventure park is one of the few team building activities that works for mixed groups: athletic or not, outdoorsy or not. Everyone chooses their own challenge level across our nine courses, and the shared experience of climbing and ziplining together builds the kind of stories a workshop never does. We’re about an hour from downtown Chicago and host corporate groups from 10 to 250.

Boundless Adventures is 40 minutes south of Milwaukee and hosts zipline birthday parties for ages 7 and up. Parties of 10 or more qualify for discounted group rates, and every guest gets three hours in the trees.

Yes. Free parking, including bus parking, is available inside Bristol Woods Park, a short walk from check-in.

Group cancellation terms depend on your group size and how far in advance you cancel. Please review the full group cancellation policy and our weather policy on the rules & policies page.
