General Manager Job Description
Boundless Adventures is looking for a general manager for our Purchase, NY location. We have an amazing team in place with industry knowledge, but we are looking to add the following skills to the management team:
- Building a cohesive team with a culture that is based on providing the best customer experience while supporting each other through reliability and a team first attitude
- Previous leadership experience managing teams of more than 30 team members (minimum 5 years)
- Previous customer service experience ideally in a recreation setting
- Comfortable working at heights
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays
Job Responsibilities include:
- Being the primary point of contact for all staff needs and communication of company messages. Oversee the organization of staff training and continuing skills practice and evaluation. Oversee the maintenance of staff readiness and ability. Ensure all staff are familiar with operational policies and proficient at their responsibilities. Create the weekly staff schedule.
- Know and enforce all organizational and operational policies
- Oversee all inspections and maintenance of the Adventure Park courses
- Oversee the maintenance all course related documentation and logs
- Oversee the maintenance all participant and staff PPE along with inspections, logs and documentation
- Perform MoD responsibilities as needed
- Maintain a professional and courteous environment for guests and employees
- Promote an excellent customer service oriented experience for guests

Salary range of $65-75k (higher end of the range for direct industry experience)
