After School & Summer Camp Programs
Enrich Your Children One Tree at a Time
Boundless Adventures in Berlin Massachusetts, is excited to be providing a program this fall that will foster socially-distanced physical fitness, as well as socialization opportunities and personal development. All participants will have the opportunity to climb the level one above their "with adult" level (Black courses for ages 10+ and Blue courses for 8-9 year olds).
Social & Emotional Learning (SEL) has been a cornerstone in the Massachusetts schools' curriculum for several years. With remote learning and social distancing, SEL has been absent. The 5 pillars of SEL are self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills and responsible decision-making. Please see below as to how participants at Boundless Adventures Massachusetts gain from experiential learning informally.

Self Awareness
Group leaders will interact closely with your children to gain an understand how they are feeling (apprehensive, bold, eager) and how those feelings change over the weeks. We will help them to understand their capabilities, and improve on their strengths to meet their goals.
Self-Management
We provide a structured environment that fosters the setting of appropriate goals and directions on how to achieve them. Boundless Adventures has protocols in place for safety reasons and to protect the environment.
Social Awareness
We break down the program into small groups to encourage compassion and respect for the group members. Boundless Adventures aerial adventure provides a uniquely level playing field, which breaks down the social norms that typically exist in groups. Additionally, we cultivate a “challenge by choice” philosophy such that everyone’s role is respected. Intimidation or group pressure is not permitted.
Relationship Skills
Participants will connect with staff and their peers while they are on the course. They might describe obstacles they are facing, ask for guidance about a particular bridge, or alert a staff member if they need help. Many facets of teamwork are practiced on the course including encouragement, relationship building, healthy competition, and problem-solving.
Responsible Decision Making
Your children will hone their problem solving skills as they maneuver through our courses. We will also be there as a sounding board for reflections. We will foster discussions whereby the group will share ideas, opinions, what they would have done differently, and how what they learned can be applied in other aspects of their lives.
