What Does the NY adventure park have to offer?

Since you likely haven’t been to the park before, take a look at the park’s website. They should have pictures, videos, and descriptions of many of the things you’ll come across during your visit.

This could include food options, a store (with keepsakes, shirts or even the essentials you need during your trip), the courses and where everything is.

Each park is going to be different, but if you really want to adventure through the trees you’ll be looking for an adventure park like Boundless Adventures. If you’re looking to zipline for most of your trip, make sure you find a park that suits what you’re looking for.

The Safety of the Park

Every adventure park, aerial park, amusement park and similar parks should always be focused on your safety.

Rides, zipline and outdoor adventure parks should be inspected regularly for safety by the park staff and by the state to ensure you have nothing to worry about.

While the experts will make sure everything is safe, you can always ask the park or their employees about the safety options they have at the park.

For example, at Boundless Adventures in NY we use the following safety measures for every guest:

• We use the most advanced safety equipment available to minimize risk. Participants wear a full-body harness and are locked on to a safety line through an always “on belay” system.
• Two carabineers are connected together and do not allow users to fully disconnect from the safety line. Participants are unable to come “off belay” until they are firmly on the ground.
• This system provides the climber with the security of knowing that he or she is always attached to a safety line, while allowing them to independently navigate the course.

Remember, if you don’t feel safe at any point (in any park) say something.

The Adventure Park’s Reputation

A parks reputation will tell you everything you need to know about they do business.

You want to see positive reviews, comments on social media and people posting about their trip.

Regardless of which NY adventure park you visit, you’re going to interact with several different staff members, countless different courses and hopefully make memories that last a lifetime.

This prevents you from becoming disconnected from the safety line until they return safely to ground level. This system allows you to fully and safely enjoy the adventure courses knowing you’re completely secure. Our trained guide will instruct you on every aspect of the safety equipment before you hit the courses.

The Obstacle Courses

Our adventure park offers a total of nine different courses, with four types designed for beginners to experts. If you or your children aren’t yet quite confident in your climbing skills, we have a course for you! And if you’re feeling confident and adventurous or have some experience in rope courses, why not try one of our more challenging courses? All of our courses feature elements which can include rope walks, moving planks, tunnels, zip lines, cargo nets, and more.

Here’s a quick look at our customized courses:

• Exploration Courses: At 10 feet above ground, these courses are perfect for younger children (ages 7 and up) or anyone new to adventure parks.
• Motivation Courses: These courses are slightly more challenging and higher off the ground at 15 feet. They include longer zip lines, elements that literally roll you from one tree to the next, and ladders.
• Strength Courses: At about 22 feet off the ground, these courses offer more challenging obstacles, including rope bridges and harder rolling elements and ladders.
• Conquer Courses: Considered our expert courses, these are set at up to 40 feet above ground level. These courses require more agility, strength, and balance. If you have no fear of heights and are ready for an adrenaline rush, these are the courses for you.

The Zip Lines

There’s a reason why ziplining is one of the most popular activities on earth! There’s nothing like soaring high above the ground as if you were flying through the trees. Riding a zip line between courses provides you with views of the forest canopy and the area that can’t be imagined from the ground.  The specialized equipment attaching you to the line allows you to soar, but it’s also designed to safely slow you down as you approach each landing zone. And remember – you’ll be strapped into a professional-grade climbing harness with backup systems.

Enjoying the Park

While you’re free to try (and master) as many courses as you like during your unique, three-hour adventure in the trees, our parks also include inviting walking paths and comfortable benches to enjoy. Climbers and friends and family members who prefer not to climb will enjoy taking in the local scenery and the activities above from ground level. There is no charge for parking or admission if you plan to watch as your friends or family members enjoy their time in the trees.
